LEAFY SPURGE COLLECTION DAYS JULY 7 & 12, 2022

July 12 - 10:00 a.m. at the Wildlife Management Area south of Mandan along Highway 6, about 10 miles south of Main Street. Look for the green WMA signs as well as a "Bug Day" sign. The road turns to a grass trail so higher profile vehicles are recommended. Morton County will provide lunch and water. Participants will need to bring nets and a cooler with ice to transport the bugs home. Morton County has no nets available for sale and we are currently seeking a new distributor for them.

July 7 - 11 a.m. CT in Grant County at the Boy Scout camp on the south shore of Lake Tschida. The location is 14 miles north of Elgin or south of Glen Ullin on Highway 49. Signs to direct motorists will also be placed along the highway. Refreshments and lunch will be served.
