Morton County Memorial Plaza
Re-envisioning space for reflection, respect, and remembrance for our Morton County War Dead.
The Morton County Memorial Plaza is a place of honor, remembrance, and resolve. Designed to honor the servicemembers of Morton County who gave the ultimate sacrifice—being killed in action or dying as a direct result of war while faithfully serving our country—this memorial plaza will stand as a testament to their courage and sacrifice. The vision for this re-imagined design is clear - we seek the support of our patriotic citizens to bring this vision to life.
The Vision
The Morton County Memorial Plaza is a place to reflect and remember, a place to honor courage, and a space where our community can connect with the history that shaped us. The project was developed by a dedicated committee of citizens and veterans, shared throughout Morton County, and ultimately solidified through the approval of our community. The Memorial Plaza design honors our fallen servicemembers and also recognizes Medal of Honor recipients from Morton County.
