Morton County Upgrades to Hyper-Reach for Emergency Alerts

Morton County Emergency Management is excited to announce the launch of Hyper-Reach, a new mass notification system that will replace CodeRED starting January 1, 2026. Hyper-Reach provides residents with more options to receive emergency alerts—including phone calls, texts, and emails—so you can stay informed in the way that works best for you.

 

What residents need to know:

  • Registration is required, even if you are already signed up for CodeRED.

  • Registration opens November 1, 2025.

  • CodeRED will continue to be used for notifications through December 31, 2025. 

  • Residents signed up for both services may receive duplicate alerts. This will resolve January 1, 2026.

“Hyper-Reach is a better, more flexible way to keep our community informed during emergencies,” said Patrick Martin, Morton County Emergency Manager. “We encourage all residents to register early so they can receive alerts in the format that works best for them.”
