See a Noxious Weed? Report It Here.

Spotted knapweed and purple loosestrife (Lythrum) are more than just “annoying weeds” — they’re invasive plants that spread fast and cause real damage to land, wildlife habitat, and pasture.

If you spot a noxious or troublesome invasive weed infestation in Morton County, please report it to our County Weed Control Officer using the form below.

Why reporting matters

Noxious and invasive weeds can:

  • Crowd out native plants

  • Reduce forage for livestock and wildlife

  • Lower land productivity

  • Cause irritation or harm to people

  • Spread quickly and become costly to control

Early reports make a big difference

Small infestations are much easier to control.
Catching weeds early helps protect our land, pastures, and natural areas before they become a larger problem.

If you see it — report it.
Even one patch is worth reporting.
